Key Responsibilities
- Engage in cold calling and converting incoming leads or quotes into sales to meet predefined quantity and quality targets[1][3].
- Interact telephonically with potential clients, describe the benefits of OUTsurance’s pet insurance products, and persuade them to enroll while following quality standards[1][3].
- Offer guidance, highlight pet product features, and assist customers in making informed purchasing decisions[1][3].
- Maintain up-to-date and in-depth knowledge of OUTsurance’s pet insurance products to provide accurate information to clients[1][3].
- Utilize effective persuasion techniques to close sales[1][3].
- Handle incoming customer phone calls and emails in a polite, professional, and timely manner[1][3].
- Work towards achieving both individual and team objectives, and be accountable for delivering sales results[1][3].
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Must meet “fit and proper” criteria, as this is a FAIS (Financial Advisory and Intermediary Services) position[3].
- Flexibility to work shifts up until 6pm on weekdays, with some weekend and public holiday shifts required[3].
- Prepared to work on a performance-based remuneration system[3].
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, especially in English[1].
- Strong analytical, numerical, and mathematical skills[1].
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team[1].
